I'm confused. (Don't feel badly; this happens a lot ;)

Do they have Outlook installed on the machine they want to send emails
from? They need to supply you with an Outlook account that's
configured to use Exchange and you send your email the same way, using
that account.

Or do they mean something different?

There are a number of documents on the internet about using VFP to
send email,but you may not need this.
