Hey Ted - thanks for keeping me in high regards. And, I can surely understand - if the problem is NOT w/Ed's tech - and its elsewhere - then one must look elsewhere.
Also - since Ed has been rather silent here - I kinda figured he was busy. Myself - just got back to work today after a week away w/my son and extended family - 1st in upstate NY - then up in New Hampshire. So - I can surely understand why Ed is Off-Grid! Good for him!!! Especially since he gets NO Pay for providing this Wonderful Support Forum! -K- -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ted Roche Sent: Thursday, July 09, 2015 1:12 PM To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [ADMIN] Mail issues, was "Test" I want you to know I consider both of you to be on my "A-List." Just try to avoid the "Big A List" because their messages are deleted without me even seeing them :) Email is an inherently unreliable medium, by design. There are no transactions nor feedback. 90% of the email traffic is spam, so much of it is blackholed, with no return message saying "This is spam" because you can't be certain who to send it to. You can't ask Ed to do something about mail his server doesn't get or mail he sends you don't receive: it's getting quarantined on your local machine, on your work server's filters, on roadrunner's two or three spam filters. Ed does check his logs pretty regularly and puts in a lot of maintenance work considering his rate of pay. Rather than use your ISPs email, you might consider using another account. Also, pretty sure Ed's busy with his grandkids visiting this week and far more important issues than us. https://twitter.com/EdLeafe/status/618968855927373824 On Thu, Jul 9, 2015 at 12:38 PM, Kurt Wendt <[email protected]> wrote: > Ken, > > Sorry to hear of all your problems.
