A little note that I "upgraded" my ASUS Transformer tab-lap-let-top thing from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 Home. While it took a while to figure out how to clear out enough space to upgrade, after that, it went slowly but uneventfully.
A side note that a 32 Gb SSD is really not enough to run Windows, and that's just pathetic. The "32Gb" of course isn't, really: 8 Gb recovery partition and 100Mb EFI drive leaves,... 20.9 Gb as Drive C:. That's Microsoft Math for ya. Of that 21 Gb, there were probably less than 1 Gb of user files -- a Fox exe and data, a couple of PDFs, PDFCreator, vRunFox, FireFox and Chrome, left less than 5 Gb free. The rest was pagefile, hibernation file, old Windows patch files, printer drivers, ASUS-included glorp, and temporary files. WinDirStat to the rescue, followed by Disk Cleanup. Windows 10 runs fine, so far. I run Classic Shell thanks to Ken McGinnis, and note that Windows Update is missing, since it's going to run whether you like it or not. There are "Express Settings" which pretty much explicitly says it is going to send every keystroke, gesture and noise the microphone picks up to Microsoft. Yeah, don't accept that. In the follow-on screens, my choices were; Off Off Off Off Off Off On for SmartScreen malicious detection Off Off Off Off Off Off Off and "Let Me Choose.." for Associated Apps, uncheck, uncheck, uncheck, uncheck.
