If I understand what you're asking for, put in "use <table name>" as your search term. Set your search type to project or folder as appropriate. Go to the advanced search options and tell it what file type so to search in.

Also - my Bad. I knew I had a previous thought on how to solve this problem - but, then I forgot what the idea was. Now I remembered it. Since I already know All programs that contain usage of that DBF in question. I can simply look for the other programs that use it - and see if they are called by the one program in question. Duh... Sorry for the lame original question - but, alas - it is late on a Friday... Its true. I saw the Plethora of options when I tried it out. I may simply have not been selecting the right options... -K- -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Richard Kaye Sent: Friday, September 25, 2015 4:25 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Code Ref. & Programs Called... It's been much faster for me when doing similar searches. And you can tailor it to look in pretty much anything. -- rk -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kurt Wendt Sent: Friday, September 25, 2015 4:24 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Code Ref. & Programs Called... I heard that its supposed to be Faster. But, when I was using it - it didn't seem to be faster than Code Ref in VFP. Maybe it was a larger sized project - not sure. But, OK - I can try looking into GF. GF is pretty amazing in what it can do so I'd just dive in and try it. It's also significantly faster than Code Refs. -- rk -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kurt Wendt Sent: Friday, September 25, 2015 4:13 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Code Ref. & Programs Called... So - I used the Code Reference tool in VFP to find out what programs are using a particular DBF file. And, this one particular program - it opens the DBF file - but, there are NO other references of actual usage. But, I know the program is calling some OTHER programs. What's the best way to find out what programs that Particular program is calling? Once I know what programs or procedures/functions it may call - I can then search them for references to this particular DBF file. I know folks suggested using the GoFish4 program - and I have started to use it. But, I suspect that it will NOT give me what I am looking for here. Am I wrong? Thanks in advance!
