Sounds like a good product per you and others here. I > haven't tried it (yet). What do you use it to do, Malcolm? > ------------------- How do I use Evernote? Many folders for many different needs. Place to put ideas down if you are called into a help session, requirements gathering, meeting ad hoc with someone and you don't have pad and paper. They say something and you need to act on it later. I have used this product a lot for just issues like this. Drop in food ideas for an upcoming party I have to cater. URLs for a blog or just my notes. School projects each class gets its own sub folder. Volunteering each group gets its own folder as well. Brewing ideas of course. Hold urls as well as images, and to be purchased wishes. Phone list from work, as well as each group I am associated. I can craft a text with a url in it as a message to son on my workstation. Copy that text to evernote and on my phone copy that note and paste it as a text to son. Mostly urls about sports and or equipment or whiskey. I put images on it as well to get an image onto my phone that I took with my nikon. Just a start here. Marcus Edger <sp> turned me onto this back 2009 or so via his podcast or weekly webinar. He went on for a few min and I looked at it and have not looked to replace it since. I can achieve content from desktop in windows to phone iOS, or tablet Android without a hitch. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Analyst Ring Container Technology Oakland TN 901.246-0159 cell --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/CAJidMYKZMUg3YL05r==CCTP6aA6h87X=5nhc8nyhp-nrndj...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
