I thought that some of you might find this interesting. And, many of you
already know about some of my endeavors in 3D Printing.
I am on another forum of 3D Printing folks - and there was a very recent
posting from a guy who represents this eSun co. you will find in the following
link. Several folks in the forum already chimed in and at least one person from
the forum already backed the project.
So - the main deal is that this KickStarter is based around a low temperature
plastic filament - as well as a 3D Printing Pen. If you get in early - you can
get some of the plastic along with the Pen at a really cheap price! Since you
can Draw with the Pen - using plastic that melts at a Low temp. (as opposed to
traditional 3D Printers where its about 400 F to melt the plastic) - that means
it's Safe for Kids to use - which is the main purpose of their project. You can
actually Re-use the plastic, like if you did a Doodle & you don't like it.
Simply immerse the plastic in warm water - and you can then literally Mold it
like it is Clay. Then, you let it Cool - and it becomes hard like regular
plastic!
