I'm now looking for a laptop, and checked the archive, where I found several helpful posts. I'll happily listen to anyone else's suggestions. (Ted, what did you end up buying this spring?)
While I was looking, I had to scroll through many posts that were long because the quoted responses were several levels deep. (There were also the responses to both ProFox and ProFoxTech, which just leaves duplicates, since they're the same list; Tech is just filtered.) So, as much of a pain as it can be to trim posts, especially in a system like Gmail with its obnoxious default, please do.
