The law that is being deliberately ignored is a misdemeanor at this point in time. There are many violations by people all over the nation, and we'd wind up jailing perhaps a hundred million people for hiring undocumented workers and deporting anywhere from 10 to 20 million people. That simply isn't going to happen. It is not practical. You can sputter all you want and be as angry as you like, but it won't change the fact that it just isn't going to happen the way you want. The best we're going to get is a solution where we stop the hemorrhaging and slow the influx. There is no way to seal off the borders and kick out everyone you don't like.
