I was going to say something similar. Here at work - for this one App I work on - in order to compile it to an EXE I MUST run VFP in Admin mode. Normally - I do NOT run in Admin mode. And ONLY when its running it Admin mode do I have the problem where I can NOT Drag & drop a PRG into the command window to open it up - much less even a DBF file!
So - as Tracy wrote - that is probably your problem. -K- -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tracy Pearson Sent: Friday, November 20, 2015 10:57 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: OLE drag drop Kent Belan wrote on 2015-11-20: > Thank you everyone for the links and info on my OLE drag drop problem. > > I have tried and tested all the suggestions but still not making much > progress. > > It is acting like my entire VFP9 is blocking anything being dropped > ... Any program you are running with Administrator privileges, Drag and Drop doesn't work. This is not VFP specific. 1) Don't run with Administrator privileges. 2) Turn UAC off. (Personally I believe this is the wrong choice.)
