Sounds like you are way off base Pete.  

As the wages rise so do the cost of goods.  That translates to higher prices
at market.  You pay more.  Now are your wages going up to deal with these
newer raised wages?  No or probably not, until your business does likewise.
This becomes inflation hard and fast.
