I use the standard menus.
They are by default DPI aware

I have built the menus by hand.

I have used a table containing the prompt and other fields to know if
sections of the menu should appear and where they appear.

I have not used the Menu designer except to get the base understanding of
how the code looks.

Since there are multiple ways to build the standard menus in VFP, your needs
will determine how you build them.

I have not looked in to the menu project on VFPx.

Happy New Year!

Subject: Menus

First I would like to thank everyone on this list for all your help and wish
you a Happy New Year !!

I have been using the Command Bars Library from ARG-Software Design Lab for
my menus for years. Looks like a Windows update has broken something in the
menu library causing VFP9 to crash when exiting the app while testing. I
verified that my other apps that don't use the Command Bar library don't
have this problem. I also removed the Command Bar from the main menu in this
project and VFP does not crash.

So ... there is something in the Command Bar library that is causing VFP to
crash ... This all started a few days ago after a Windows 10 update.

The error says: An Unhandled win32 exception occurred in vfp9.exe [12272].

Guess it is time to find a new menu system ...

What is everyone using for their menus ?? Standard foxpro menus ? VFPx has a
cool looking OOP Menu project which looks cool, anyone use this ? are there
any other menu options for VFP9 ?

Thanks for your help (again) and Happy New Year !!!
Kent
