Understood re:Ticker - or a bottom scroll like on CNN. I suspect I understand 
your issue - that if you use a standard way - and if the text moves 1 char 
space at a time - it doesn't look that smooth. You could theoretically use a 
Container - and in the container use a Text Label field - and make it REALLY 
Long - and just move the position of the item from right to left. Just a 
thought. Maybe even use some kind of Timer - to control the movement...

What kind of text is displayed? Are you using a textbox, editbox, label or what?
How you want to scroll horizontally?

A real example of a Windows control that do what you need should be useful for 
better understanding.
