If you use Beyond Compare, there is a fantastic add-on by Frank Perez called
VFP2Text.

http://pfsolutions-mi.com/Product/VFP2Text

For tables, it compares the column structures, indexes, code pages, triggers
(all in the beginning of the compare). Then
it compares records and data values in the columns.

Also works on all the other binary source files like forms, class libraries,
reports, labels, menus, projects, and
database containers. I use this add-on numerous times a week.

It should be a commercial tool, but Frank is generous and makes it available
for free. Yes, you have to purchase Beyond
Compare, but it is a steal for $50.

Subject: DBF Compare

I was wondering if anybody new of a Table Comparison utility. I wrote a Fox2x
utility a while back that compares two
folders and generates reports on structure & index differences (i.e. Filename,
Field Name, Field Type, Field Width,
Error, where Error could be Field not found in Source or Field Width not equal,
etc.). It doesn't work for VFP Tables as
of yet and don't have time to debug it as I'm working on a deadline.
