I've created some tricky Samba configurations, but they are tough to get right! Logged into the server using an admin account (like root), typing: testparrm will report what Samba thinks the configuration is, including an uncommented config output, which can be handy to compare against your Samba configs to see if there are commands Samba is ignoring or misinterpreting. Post that and we'll see if it matches what you've described above. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/CACW6n4saJS0X=5l9jl_4q0ysobw-zwngtb9oib_t6b2c4ri...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
