This is a nice idea, but I think that the problem is that VFP is COM+ oriented, and this is a technology that MS wants to let behind.
But for desktop-apps it could have some life. A native multi-platform VFP could be nicer, something Linux native in example :-P The reality is that this will not happen, because it is a very good language and cheap, so it is not a good deal for MS.
