Well - its taken me a little while to finish the book. But, I finally finished it today. Generally speaking, I only read it in short bursts as I was eating lunch at work. But, Gotta say - it was a GREAT Read. I definitely suggest people read it - those of you in this forum - who haven't read it before. Dave Fulton comes off pretty Crazy at times in the story. Especially the whole episode of the snow storm - and employees all stranded in their homes - and Dave comes tearing up in a Big Arse 4-Wheeler, grabbing people up - then driving like a madman - even going out of his way to purposely drive over Big snow drifts - just to prove how Great his vehicle was.
So - yeah - definitely a Fun Read!!! Its also fun reading about the development of FoxPro - which they originally codenamed FireFox. And, remembering the excitement of it first being unveiled by Dave himself at the Fox Dev. conf. I attended. So - in reading this book - I can Seriously relate to my own experiences - originally working w/Foxbase+, then being the 1st at my job to get to play with FoxPro. Although, I just finished the chapter where this programmer woman named Carol was fired. And, Kerry & the others thought it strange when it happened - especially since Dave had another programmer, Chris, fire the woman instead of himself. Interesting indeed Momma! A great book. I looked, and, yes, it is on the shelf about five feet away. I should reread it.
