In 5 days I'll be attempting to cycle the 103-mile course [0] for the Tour de Cure, a cycling event to raise money for research into a cure for diabetes. This past Saturday I rode in the Shiner GASP [1] as a training exercise. It was a little over 48 miles, and even with a strong headwind coming back, I finished without a problem [2]. Oh, and since the ride started and finished at the Shiner Brewery, there was much beer to be consumed for the victorious! [3]
So first I'd like to thank everyone who has donated so far. Your generosity is truly appreciated! But I want to make one last pitch to get a few more to donate so that we can push the total over the magic $500 mark. You've already brought the total to $439, so we don't have much to go! So if you can spare a few dollars, it will be going to a good cause. Please click on the donation link [4] below. And thanks for your support!
