I would strongly recommend you check out VDOS at vdos.info.

I've been using it to run my Foxpro DOS program on Win 10 Pro systems for a few weeks now and it's impressive. (Free, but donation suggested.)

I don't know that it will removed your Read Only issue, and yes I have seen that myself but I don't know what is causing it.

VDOS is exceptionally easy to set up, too.

I went to the Host folder [FPW26] and unticked [Read Only] and included
