Take a look at Basic4Android. Easy to learn and streets ahead of "basic" as you
know it with a similar structure to VFP with which it has many similarities. Available
also on iOS (B4i), Desktop(B4j) Arduino (B4R) and supports Android, Iod, windows, Mac,
Linux, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and much more
+1 for B4A.
I had a working app running on my tablet Within 2 hours, and that
includes download, setup, and supporting libraries installation. Dead
easy to use, excellent documentation, the developer himself is extremely
responsive to questions, and it has a robust and friendly support forum.
I can not recommend this highly enough. Some of the best money I've
ever spent.
