        That doesn't compute in the American Mindset. The equation has to  
take into account that the lives of US citizens are precious, whereas  
those of other nations are near worthless (if they are allies), or  
completely worthless (if they are not allies). So thousands of Afghan  
lives times a value of zero means that it certainly *was* worth it.  
But thousands of US lives times priceless... well, now you can see  
how she can make such statements.
