I'm not sure really.  They were released 24 years ago, but I bought
mine second hand 15-20 years ago.
It's something I like playing around with in my spare time.  Has an
ethernet card so can I browse the web (badly).

My next project is to replace the SCSI HD with some kind of SSD solution.

I own 2 A4000s.  The more basic one has a eSATA SSD to IDE adapter
which is pretty cool.
A serial connection to a Raspberry PI provides internet access.

Considering Commodore was a US company it's a shame the Amiga didn't
do well there.
Your A1000 would have made good money in Europe.  Up to $1000 I guess.
