Never tried Fox but we use L&L as the report engine in our C# app.
It's extremely powerful and very flexible.  I love it!

Data source for the report can be pretty much anything.

I use a mixture of DataSets, collections of C# objects and a custom
interface provided by L&L.
(you pass in multiple object collections and describe the
relationships between them).

Our end users can create their own custom reports.
It's royalty free too.  I'm even using it to create HTML emails for
bulk mailing.
