Jorg,
I would try like Laurie says, change the whole page setting to Printable page
and see if the margins in the report change. You can see this in design mode
immediately as they will sometimes highlight fields that go over the printable
width (they will be greyed out).

Also check on the justification of the image as well as the actual page
physical width you have set up on the printer.

Dows the actual printed report come out the same as the preview because many
times you get the printed report resetting itself perfectly due to issues such
as page orientation being misinterpreted by the preview function.

If you aren't using it I would also suggest using FoxyPreviewer (Codeplex) to
produce the report and it very often shows up problems like this.

Subject: strange behavior of reports

Hallo all,

I found a strange behavior of der report writer.

It seems to enlarge the report.(?)

The right and the bottom part of the page disappears.

This behavior is independent of the standard printer (no driver issue!)

Some ideas??

Example (the red numbers are for demonstration)

In the report designer www.neodat.de/Reportdesigner.jpg
<http://www.neodat.de/Reportdesigner.jpg>

in the report www.neodat.de/Report.jpg <http://www.neodat.de/Report.jpg>
??????????????????????????????????
