I live in London but have holidayed in Norwich and surrounding areas a
few times.
The Norfolk Broads are fantastic and Norwich is a lovely city.

As a family (with a Jack Russel for protection!) we hired a lovely
place right on the river.

You can hire a small boat and explore the Broads, stopping off at pubs
and villages.
My Nephew was about 15 at the time so was the designated 'captain'
while we lazed around drinking beer :-)

On the North coast there is the largest seal colony in the UK.

>From Wikipedia:
The Broads are a network of mostly navigable rivers and lakes in the
English counties of Norfolk and Suffolk. The lakes, known as broads,
were formed by the flooding of peat workings. The Broads, and some
surrounding land, were constituted as a special area with a level of
protection similar to a national park by the Norfolk and Suffolk
Broads Act 1988.
