If I build this into an EXE:

Define Class stopwatch as Custom olepublic

        Function Init as Boolean
        
                Set Textmerge on noshow
                Set Textmerge to e:\temp\stopwatch.txt additive
                \<<Datetime()>> started
                Set Textmerge off
                Set Textmerge to 
        
        Return .t.

EndDefine

Then create one, it returns to the Command window. So it's not that it
it's not possible, but hard to identify what it is without having the
source.
