+1 - I'd be interested to know how this kid's work scores in a Turing Test. 

Not saying the kid isn't smart, but a lot of his answers were mostly
buzzwords but that could just have been the venue and he could have been
dumbing it down for the show.

I suspect this kid is using the meaning of 'AI' that seems to be rife in
technical articles and lazy journalism at the minute, fed by every company
out there wanting to jump on this year's hype bandwagon.

In other words maybe a bit of pattern recognition if you're lucky.
