I doubt it. They're the dummies who give money to them. One of my customers is a Jewish home contractor who does a lot for Habitat for Humanity. He organized all of his contractors to do one or 2 houses at cost.
Well being it was done at cost, contractors scheduled people when they didn't have critical due days, so the houses were built slower than scheduled. Do you know the new homeowner had the balls to complain about the delays, even though she was getting a house WAY under market?
