I hope everyone is having a great day today, and that all of us Americans who are celebrating Thanksgiving Day are having a thoughtful day of introspection and good fellowship and of course feasting.
This year we tried Thanksgiving dinner in a "nice" restaurant for something different. Steve's kids always do the calendar holiday with their in-laws so we all had a Turkey dinner together last Saturday. For today, it was actually rather nice to go to a decent restaurant for a gourmet buffet. I doubt we will ever do it again because our house will be finished in a few months and we will (finally!) have a kitchen again, but it was worth a try. We went to the Pala Resort in Fallbrook. That's a golf resort, although neither of us plays golf.
