Tsk, tsk, we don't need your kind around here. Ballmer spreads enough FUD for a thousand people. :) Seriously, this isn't actually true. You can run VFP on Linux as long as you are running a licensed copy. What MSFT CLAIMS you're not allowed to do (but what has never been proven one way or the other) is run your app with the VFP runtimes on Linux, without paying MSFT a license fee. What's really ridicerous (sic) is that when we asked about getting a license fee for the runtime (e.g. like SQL/Server CALs), MSFT said they'd never do that. They just don't want anyone to use VFP.
