My land-line broadband connection here in India is up and down like a yo-yo.
One of the local cellphone companies (Reliance Jio) has recently offered
a sim + dongle deal that will connect up to 10 wifi devices.
I am mostly impressed with the performance, and use it whenever the
landline goes down - BUT if I leave my adsl router connected I can 'see'
the Jio wifi but my browser/email do not connect. If I switch off the
router internet access works immediately but I lose lan access to NAS
and wired devices (I prefer wired connection from my main PC to the
router although wireless is available).
Can any network gurus out there please help me with this - remembering
that it should be fairly quick and easy to revert to plain old bsnl
landline + router.
I've tried Googling this but I think the question is too complicated for it.
thanks - AndyD
