I don’t understand the condescension about anything that isn’t VFP. I moved on 
to more a *modern* platform (Python) over a decade ago because I wanted to have 
more opportunity than an EOL’d product like VFP offered. Marketing had nothing 
to do with it. What was important was that this was an open language, and some 
corporate bigwig could not shut it down and stop development, as Microsoft had 
done with VFP.
