Frank, just some additional food for thoughts:

Lianja does IOS, Android, Linux, MacOS, Windows apps. Either as standalone or 
as Appserver-based Apps.

You write them in whatever you like from this list: VFP, PHP, Phyton, 
Javascript, Typescript, Babel/ES6. These languages are all compiled to the same 
IL-code; thus you can interchangingly use whatever fits best for a specific 
module and you'll always find some programmers to help you out.

does xojo do Android apps? I think that's why I dropped it from my list 
of possible new tools to learn some years ago.
