Hey Mike - that is a WEIRD Problem. Funny thing is - I was having the
same problem at work. I had it on a LOT of occasions over the past 1.5
years. Not like hundreds of times, but a good number of times. Yes, I
found it to be an annoyance - and when it occurred - I did what you do
to fix it. But, since it was such a minor annoyance - I never bothered
to post about it here...

Recently replaced my laptop's hard drive. Use Macrium Reflect (and it
couldn't have been easier).
However, when I start VFP now, with the property setting to open
maximized on launch, it opens with crazy dimensions, spread across
both monitors: https://www.screencast.com/t/kMiExIye
I end up having to make the screen normal via dbl-clicking the title
bar, then dbl-clicking it again to maximize to just the one monitor,
as I want it. This isn't fatal; it's just annoying. I found out
which FoxUser.dbf file was in use, SET RESOURCE OFF, opened the
resource file, then ZAPped it. Closed VFP and restarted--no different.
Ideas? tia!
