Mike Lewis has a small article here:

... but it is only a cursory review.

In addition I usually use the thought process that anything you use in VFP SQL
you can do directly in TSQL apart from the pre VFP9 availability of including
fields in an aggregated SQL select statement that aren't included in the Group
by and order by clauses.

As for TSQL Functions, they are mostly completely different unless you write
your own "VFP Equivalent functions" in native TSQL which I did many moons ago.

A great bonus of TSQL is that you don't need to pad out character select
expressions as you do in VFP where the first character select of a field
dictates the length of the selected SQL field - this used to bite me all the
time!!!

Subject: VFP TSQL concordance

Hi all

There is a document in Ed's download area giving concordances between VFP(6)
and VB6. I am looking for something similar showing concordances between VFP
and TSQL. Has anybody come across such an animal?

Many thanks

Paul Newton
