Charlie, It sounds more like a browser attack, not system. I have seen a number like this on other browsers and often, the fix is quite simple. But they can be very annoying!

It also appears that his default web page gets switched to Firefox or something like that. Does anyone know about that, and if so, how to get rid of the problem on the Mac?
