This is not an actual reply to an email thread; I've only been able to see the messages with this Subject line in the archives.

So I didn't get my own message, or Paul's reply to it.

I am no email guru, but I have observed that messages may be rejected by some email systems if the physical domain host is not the same as the physical email server host, but both hosts use the same domain name, and there is no reference to the correct email host in the SPF record for the domain host. Not all email systems have SPF rejection enabled. If they do, they probably should issue a bounce explaining what they did. Just a thought....
