I was a long time Dell Latitude fan, but the current series is nowhere as useful as the 55 / 65 series.
Nowadays I'm quite happy with my Microsoft Surface Book. You can tear it apart to be only a Tablet, or use it as a regular Laptop. Not exactly on the cheaper side of products, but very handy. Very good Graphicscard (internal resolution is 3000x2000), and together with the Surface Dock I'm using it on a 40 inch monitor with 4k (3840*2160 pixels). Keyboard is very good, also the mechanical endurance is top. 16Gb RAM should be enuf, same with the builtin SD (512Gb or 1Tb).
