Subject: [NF] Two NICs in a single PC => two IPs, right?

Just to confirm, now that I'm in a shopping spree mode...

I've got a Web server with a bunch of virtual domains on it. Works fine.
They're all tied to a single IP address, of course.

If I put a second NIC in the box, I could bind one IP address to one
card and a second IP address to the second card, right? I'm pretty sure
this is how it would work, but it's just that I've never done it with my
own hands, so I thought I'd ask.

The only restriction is that both IPs would have to be on the same
subnet - I couldn't have 10.0.0.14 and 192.168.1.27. Well, not if they
both wanted to get out through the same 10.0.0.n gateway. <g>
