>From a security POV in SQL Server I can set up who has access to DATA. I give you a back up and you restore it somewhere, that model of security follows. You just fix the kets between master and your db via EXEC sp_change_users_login 'Auto_Fix' , 'RINGCAN\PBIAdmin';
Around here that is very important on who can see what with respect to sales, production, purchasing, etc. There is no security in an excel file when you pass that around.
