I've seen the same problem with UNIX (r) and LINUX (tm) UNIX is a registered trademark of The Open Group, probably back when teletypes only had upper case, perhaps. Linux is a trademark or registered trademark of Linux Torvalds worldwide. DOS is probably okay, though, except perhaps in Dos Boot, but not DOS bootdisk. I always have a problem trying to decide if the "I" ought to be capitalized. For Scots I know, it's in upper-case. For the Apple, it's not, right? There was a humorous exchange on Slashdot yesterday on a review of a new "Agile Development" book, riffing on the use of Proper Case to emphasize the Goodness of Best Practices. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
