Yes, I have had mixed results with rebates. You have to make copies of everything you send and do it right away when you get home from the store. I got stiffed from HP when I bought a laptop and it had a $50 rebate for a USB floppy drive (would have been free). I ordered and sent the paper work and they refused because I did not send in their proper receipt which I printed from their website. PITA... David L.
