I remember it well. Orlando 1993 was my first DevCon, having been promised by my employer to send me to the last two. I got laid off before this one and went myself. Shared a room at the Dolphin with Arnold Bilansky, organizer of the Boston Fox user group of the Boston Computer Society and fellow contributor to the BCNN newsletter[1]. Met so many people I had only known online on Compu$erve. met my future Blackstone employer, Peter Moon, made connections with a few people I'd write books with, and attended IguanaFest!
