This time, though, it was at a hotel at the airport. My room opened up to a wonderful view of the runways, which were in constant use, and even with the balcony door closed, provided a pretty high decibel level. I must have complained to a dozen people about the noise. The next day, though, it was eerily silent. You all know why.
