        It is not necessary to build a better mouse trap. In fact, that  
almost makes it harder to overcome market inertia, because the people  
who made the better solution expect that others will recognize its  
superiority, come to the same conclusion, and choose the better  
option; as a result, they don't push it as hard as someone who knows  
that they are selling crap.

        Look at VFP vs. VB, or Mac vs. Windows, or Beta vs. VHS... history  
is filled with inferior choices that completely dominated a market.
