Dave,
the camera is supposed to use port 1024
the setup is a bit complicated because it's using the wireless router <=>
adsl modem/ router setup that I posted about on Profox recently.
there seems to be a lot of confusion on the web about lan/ wan setup -
including the Linksys site, but I *think* I've got a working setup:
(I'll copy this post to Profox) N.B. needs monospaced font:

<internet>-<modem/router><switch>-<pc>
                         <switch>--<pc>
                         <switch>-<BT voip router>-{Tel}
                         <switch>-<...>
                         <switch>-<wireless router>-~-<camera>
                                  <wireless router>-~-<laptop>
                                  <wireless router>-<pc (planned)>
                                  <wireless router><...>
                 unused =<UpLink>-<wireless router>

I have opened up port 1024 (on both routers!), and for a brief period I put
the camera on the dmz (I think - Zyxel call it 'default'), also on both
routers. No luck so far.
Everything else seems to work with the above setup (dhcp disabed on the
wireless router and 'server' on the Zyxel Modem/router (.33-.65),
everything on dhcp except the wireless router *local* ip address is ...222
and the camera is ...122)
 - I can access the web via cable of wireles, vpn works, I can telnet to
the modem/router at ...1 access the web control pages of the wireless
router at ...222 and the camera at ...122 - which also lets me view the
camera.

I just can't see the camera on the web.

btw I convinced myself about this setup when I got my head round the fact
that a router routes 'foreign' addresses and 'loops' local subnet
addresses, and that from a setup pov there is no difference between a hub
and a switch.

Linksys themselves describe their wireless router as a wireless access
point linked to a four port switch, but for router-router connection* they
still suggest connecting the outer (dhcp enabled) router to the uplink port
of the inner (dhcp disabled) router - but if that fails try one of the lan
ports

* they deprecate this but *don't* say it invalidates warranty
