Greetings! I am have some "Brain Gas". This is an issue I had a while ago, found a work-around, and can't recall how I fixed it. I have a client that provided me a fast, new XP Pro PC with 1Gb RAM. I copied my various applications over to the new PC, and installed my VFP app's .exe and .app files. The previous PC is a Windows 2000 Pro SP4 PC, which I think ran fine, but my client wanted me to have this new, bad-assed monster. Okay, no problem.
Now whenever I fire off one of my VFP apps I get an error message advising: The resource file is invalid. Overwrite it with a new empty one? If I tell the PC to overwrite it with a new empty one, the apps run perfectly. How has anyone else worked around this little hiccup? Thanks!
