Paul McNett had written many years ago how he noticed a boost in 
performance by changing the visibility of those kinds of obsolete 
properties to HIDDEN (instead of the default=PUBLIC).  Assuming you're 
not using the VFP base classes directly and are instead referencing your 
own subclasses, that could work for you too!  The n-tier open source 
project I posted in Ed's OpenTech forum contains my base classes with 
most of those properties adjusted for this.  Help yourself.
