I tend to keep a folder on my desktop with a bunch of favorite shortcuts 
and then some subset of that I will drag and drop to the QL as Tracy 
indicated. And you can also add a whole folder as a toolbar. For 
example, say you have a folder with a bunch of shortcuts that point to 
EXEs for different apps. Make that a taskbar toolbar, size that section 
to the width of the folder and you will get a list of the folder 
contents when you click on the >>.
