Just like using biofeedback. You see the electric usage report on a daily
basis. Over a given period you would know what the average is and anytime
you see a spike, you start looking for those lights that were left on that
really aren't doing anything, the things that are plugged in but aren't
doing anything other than consuming electricity, etc. Of course, I would
start by unplugging/turning off anything that wasn't being used anyway, then
go from there. It would also help you to know what your bill is going to be,
day by day.

I'll bet you have some of those things happening if you look around.

1. I just got home and the house is hot, turn on Air
2. Clothes are dirty you run washer and electric dryer.
