Well I have got around the first issue without having to turn off aero
all the time. In the shortcut properties for running the programme, on
the compatibility tab there is an option to disable visual effects.
Ticking this on, sorts out the invisible borders of forms running in the
programme!

Solution! Yey!

Subject: Vista and Form Borders

Wehey!

Seen as we have had about twenty million Vista posts recently I thought
I would through another one in! lol

Anyway, has anyone noticed either of the two irregularities with borders
around forms?

1) With Aero turned on and with a form with a border style of "1 - Fixed
Single", sometimes the border just does not show at all. Instead you
get a completely invisible area where the form should be. You can still
drag the form by clicking in this invisible area.

2) Half height title bar on a form. If this is turned on and you still
have the control box shown in the top right corner of the form, it
doesn't register a click if you click on say the minimise button in the
top right hand corner of it. If I click in the bottom left hand corner,
a new minimise button is drawn as depressed but not aligned to where it
should be.

I am running Vista Business evaluation on a Toshiba Satellite Pro.

Any Comments?

Thanks all
